When we played golf at Indian Hills around the age of 13 I learned some creative uses for the golf tee, that little wooden thing you put golf balls on top of. Golf balls were cheaper back then and I would ruin mine by cutting them with a five iron-somehow he just bashed his to death so they got flattened on many sides but never cut-I think he was very strong --even when young.
Thought about Graham last Sunday with the last round of golf played at Tuscaloosa Country Club where he grew up and served as golf pro. Always ready with a wise crack and a smile.
