I’m so saddened by news of Bobby’s passing. He had such a good Black Bear Spirit! ...and was just a good “down to earth” person. My sympathies to Allison and family. So very sorry - Rest In Peace Bobby.

Blessings to Allison and your family - I'm so sorry for your loss.  I remember Bobby's blazing speed in PE on the fields at Eastwood Junior High.  I'm sure he's running with the angels now.

Allison, I am so very sorry. Bobby was my oldest friend I can remember. We were 4-5 years old when his parents built a house on my early childhood street. We were pretty inseparable through Northington....going to car auctions with he and Shot. Playing at the car lot downtown on Saturdays. Spend the nights (NEVER allowed to enter Ruth’s living room! But we would sneak in there!). He was also the last person I ever got in a knock- down drag out fight with....in 6th grade! Although I have not seen y’all in almost 50 years, I cannot tell you how often I have dredged up those memories over the years. Bless you and your family and know that so many are thinking of you at this time. David

so very sad to hear about Bobby,  he was one of the guys, Allison, I wish there were some words to help you through this time, but there are no words, just prayers and they are on the way to you.

We were good friends from Northington Elementary School to Eastwood Junior High and finally Tuscaloosa High School, along with some of the other classmates who have already posted. For all of Bobby's good characteristics, he loved Allison very much. I can truthfully say that Allison was the best thing that ever happened to him. He would be the first to admit that in Allison he without a doubt "out punted his covergage!" Allison, treasure the memories with Bobby and continue to laugh about the many good times. Love your family and friends, lean on them and grieve with them. Your Black Bear family is here for you.
