I'm currently retired and living in Gulf Shores. I love living here! Well, I did love living there, but I recently moved back to Calera to be nearer my grandchildren.

I received my bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Montevallo. I taught English and literature before retiring a few years ago.
School Story:

Just about every day our senior year, Brenda Whittington and I left campus at lunch and went to McDonalds. Somehow we never got caught, or the administration just chose to overlook it.
